GUIDANCE FOR APPLICANTS
The Kinsbourne Common Nursery and Pre-School prides itself on being part of a 'Community of Practice' (Lave and Wenger 1991). With this in mind, we are keen to ensure that successful applicants have a range of skills but are also prepared to undertake training as part of their continued professional development. There are a variety of training schemes available to candidates enabling them to establish a career working with children. Where there is suitable funding, we will endeavour to provide support throughout the process. However, applicants having already achieved an early years Level 2 or 3 qualification would be desirable. Please see government guidance on staff qualifications at:-
